A mindful prayer tracking app that helps Muslims deepen their connection with Allah through self-reflection, scoring, and spiritual growth insights.
To create a beautifully designed, deeply personal prayer companion that goes beyond simple check-ins. The goal was to help Muslims not just track whether they prayed, but how they prayed — measuring khushū' (spiritual presence/focus), prayer quality, and spiritual growth over time. The app aims to turn daily prayer from a routine obligation into a mindful, reflective practice.
Most existing prayer apps focus on prayer times and qibla direction — none meaningfully address the quality of prayer. Muslims often struggle with praying mechanically without presence or focus, having no way to track spiritual growth over time, missing prayers without accountability, lack of insight into what helps or hinders their concentration, and no motivation system tied to the depth of their worship.
We built a comprehensive prayer quality tracking system with: a Heart State Flow for pre-prayer emotional reflection across four quadrants; multi-dimensional scoring (0–100) based on khushū', focus, timing, what was prayed (Fard, Sunnah, Nawafil, Duas, Witr), location, and who they prayed with; a Prayer Progress Ring showing daily completion and scores at a glance; an Insights Dashboard with 14+ customizable modules including weekly trends, heatmaps, and reflection word clouds; contextual Growth Insights after each check-in; a gamified Tree Widget (7 levels from Flourishing to Withered) as an Android home screen widget; Prayer Scores Widget with color-coded bar charts; daily reminders, Quran verses for inspiration; and cloud sync via Supabase with offline-first local storage.
